Founder Jia Guolong stated during an online meeting that the company cannot make timely payments now and must wait until 2028 to disburse the funds.1 This compensation restructuring follows Xibei's significant workforce reduction in late February, when the restaurant chain implemented a salary deferral policy reducing monthly payments to 50% for employees earning over 20,000 yuan and 80% for those earning between 10,000 and 20,000 yuan.1
