王建军在2005年上半年至2019年9月间，利用担任中国证监会云南监管局党委委员、副局长，以及中国证监会办公厅副主任、市场监管部主任等职务便利，为相关单位和个人在公司上市、企业融资等事项上谋取利益，非法收受财物共计人民币9340万余元1。法院认定其受贿数额特别巨大1。
法院在量刑时考虑到王建军到案后如实供述罪行，主动交代办案机关尚未掌握的部分事实，并当庭表示认罪悔罪，依法对其从轻处罚1。
The Weifang Intermediate People's Court in Shandong Province has sentenced Wang Jianjun, former party committee member and vice chairman of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), to life imprisonment for bribery 1. The verdict was delivered on September 7, 2026 1.
Wang exploited his official positions between the first half of 2005 and September 2019 to facilitate corporate listings, enterprise financing, and other business interests for various entities and individuals 1. In exchange, he unlawfully accepted bribes totaling over 9.34 million yuan 1. His positions during this period included party committee member and deputy director of the CSRC's Yunnan Regulatory Bureau, as well as deputy director and market supervision department director of the CSRC's office 1. The court determined the bribery amount was exceptionally large; however, the sentence was reduced in accordance with law due to Wang's truthful confession upon arrival at the authorities, voluntary disclosure of facts previously unknown to investigators, and his courtroom admission of guilt and remorse 1. In addition to life imprisonment, Wang was deprived of political rights for life and all personal property was confiscated 1. The open hearing took place on June 10, 2026 1.
