The ongoing joint training exercise, designated "Civilization Eagle-2026," commenced on August 22 and is expected to continue through early September.1 The deployment of J-16 fighter jets marks a significant milestone, as this represents the first instance these aircraft have operated outside Asia, traveling over 6,000 kilometers to participate in the military exercises in Egypt.1
