University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust has initiated an independent inquiry into potential failings in its maternity and neonatal services, led by senior midwife Donna Ockenden 1. The review will examine over 1,000 cases of maternity and neonatal care dating back to 2018 1.
Bereaved parents whose families have been harmed by the trust's services will provide evidence during the investigation 1.
