参访期间，与会代表接触到大湾区的发展亮点，包括广州地铁18号线时速160公里、30分钟可直达南沙1，以及广州南沙港区四期作为全球首个江海铁多式联运全自动化码头1等标志性项目。

Participants undertook an initial tour across six major cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area to experience China's development firsthand.1 The delegation visited Guangzhou, Foshan, Dongguan, Zhuhai, and Zhongshan, where they were shown key infrastructure projects including the Guangzhou Metro Line 18, which operates at a maximum speed of 160 kilometers per hour and reaches Nansha in 30 minutes.1 Visitors also toured Guangzhou Nansha Port's Phase Four facility, described as the world's first fully automated container terminal integrating rail, road, and waterway logistics.1
The forum serves as a prelude to the APEC Leaders' Informal Meeting scheduled for November 18-19 in Shenzhen.1 This year marks China's role as APEC host and represents the country's third time chairing the summit, with the previous occasion occurring 12 years ago.1
