The United States military has conducted strikes against three Iranian oil tankers after claiming that American naval vessels came under attack.123 The U.S. Central Command stated that the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps fired ballistic missiles at two American warships, which the military said successfully evaded the multiple attacks with no casualties.123 Two of the Iranian tankers were permanently disabled, while a third was completely destroyed.123
