Wall Street is preparing for a critical week of economic data that will shed light on the trajectory of U.S. inflation. The Producer Price Index (PPI) for August will be released on Thursday, followed by the Consumer Price Index (CPI) on Friday.1 These two reports are expected to provide crucial insights for both market participants and the Federal Reserve as they assess ongoing price pressures in the economy.1
