Fox News announced on Thursday that Maria Bartiromo is no longer with the network, effective immediately, without offering an explanation for her departure. 1 According to reports, Bartiromo was dismissed after allegedly leaking to the White House internal Fox News editorial directives instructing executives to avoid covering a Trump speech from July that contained unverified and false claims about the 2020 election, a violation of company policy. 1
