Beyond pharmaceutical coverage, the bureau is working to standardize medical service items and consumables reimbursement across the nation. 1 The initiative also encompasses optimizing commercial health insurance drug directories and implementing a "basic medical insurance plus commercial health insurance" dual-protection system. 1 Additionally, the authorities are implementing streamlined review mechanisms for medical institutions handling rare diseases and innovative therapeutic approaches, with the goal of shortening approval cycles for such cases. 1
