深汕校区规划占地约100万平方米，总建筑面积达63.63万平方米，远期规划在校生规模最高可达1.5万人1。

The university significantly expanded its undergraduate enrollment this year, recruiting 2,900 bachelor's degree students across 15 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities nationwide.1 Among those admitted through the physics track, the number of students scoring 40 points or more above the provincial control cutoff increased from 471 in 2025 to 1,329 in 2026, representing a growth rate of 182.2%.1 Meanwhile, the associate degree program admitted 9,000 students, with 99.9% of them surpassing the undergraduate admission threshold—a historic record.1 The lowest admission score for the Shenshan campus's inaugural cohort was 486 points, exceeding the undergraduate cutoff by 61 points.1
The Shenshan campus is designed to occupy approximately one million square meters, with a total built-up area of 636,300 square meters, and long-term planning targets an on-campus population of up to 15,000 students.1
