9月3日，深圳职业技术大学深汕校区迎来首批320名2026级新生，标志着深汕特别合作区首所全日制公办大学正式启动招生培养工作1。
校区规划占地约100万平方米，首期投用建筑面积25.87万平方米1。首批新生将就读人工智能技术应用、机械设计与制造、新能源汽车技术、智能网联汽车技术等4个专业1。根据规划，校区远期将设置7个学院、32个专业，在校生规模最高可达1.5万人，计划2027年全面竣工1。
学校积极推进产教融合发展，与比亚迪、北京理工大学共同组建国家级新能源汽车产教融合共同体1，并联动华为等70余家企业成立市域产教联合体1。校区年均规划输送超5000名高素质技术技能型人才1。
Shenzhen Vocational and Technical University's Shenshen campus officially welcomed its first cohort of 320 new students from the class of 2026 on September 3, establishing itself as the first full-time public university in the Shenshen Special Cooperation Zone 1. The campus is planned to cover approximately one million square meters with a total construction area of 636,300 square meters, with its first phase of 258,700 square meters now operational 1. The initial student intake is enrolled in four programs: artificial intelligence technology application, mechanical design and manufacturing, new energy vehicle technology, and intelligent connected vehicle technology 1.
The university envisions significant expansion in the coming years, with long-term plans to establish seven colleges offering 32 majors and accommodate up to 15,000 students on campus 1. The campus is scheduled for full completion by 2027 1. To support its academic mission, the institution has established partnerships with over 70 enterprises, including BYD and Huawei, through a municipal-level industry-education consortium and has formed a national-level industry-education integration community in collaboration with BYD and Beijing Institute of Technology focused on new energy vehicles 1. The university projects it will produce over 5,000 highly skilled technical professionals annually 1.
