Huawei has officially announced that acclaimed Hong Kong actor and singer Liu Dehua will serve as the brand ambassador for the HUAWEI Mate XT 2 Extraordinary Master 1. The company will unveil HarmonyOS 7 alongside the new Mate XT 2 device at a launch event scheduled for September 7 at 2:30 PM 1.
Liu Dehua's appointment extends his existing role as the brand ambassador for the Huawei Mate Extraordinary Master line 1. He has also contributed to the brand's identity by performing the theme song "Extraordinary," which was composed by Cai Xiaoen, with lyrics by Tang Tian and production by Zheng Nan 1. This track was integrated into the Mate XT and XTs as a built-in ringtone following the HarmonyOS 6.0.0.130 update in January of this year 1. The Extraordinary Master brand itself was first introduced by Huawei in September 2023 1.
