A Turkish cargo vessel has sunk following a collision with another ship off Istanbul's coast, prompting an urgent search and rescue operation. The Tugberk Imamoglu, a 90-meter dry cargo ship, collided with the Alsu, a 91-meter chemical tanker, in the Sea of Marmara approximately 32 kilometers south of Sirlivri early Wednesday morning at around 3 a.m. local time 12.
