TP-Link has introduced its inaugural Wi-Fi 8 hardware lineup at IFA 2026, which takes place September 4-8 in Berlin 2. The company is launching two products based on the emerging IEEE 802.11bn standard: the Archer 8 Ultra tri-band router and the Deco 8 Ultra mesh system 1.
The Archer 8 Ultra router delivers wireless speeds up to 19 Gbps paired with 10 Gbps wired connectivity, and features 18 internal antennas 1. The Deco 8 Ultra mesh system offers higher wireless throughput at 22 Gbps while maintaining the same 10 Gbps wired connection capacity 1. Rather than pursuing speed increases alone, TP-Link has designed these devices to address practical connectivity challenges 1.
The IFA 2026 event in Berlin is expected to draw over 200,000 attendees and serves as Europe's largest technology showcase 2.
