深圳职业技术大学深汕校区首开区于8月31日正式交付使用1，首批320名新生将于9月3日入校1。首开区总建筑面积25.87万平方米1，包含行政教学、学院实训、师生宿舍、体育医疗等4个组团1，首批开设人工智能技术应用、机械设计与制造、新能源汽车技术、智能网联汽车技术等4个专业1。
校区采用绿色智慧设计1，绿化覆盖率达35%1，目标打造近零碳排放示范校区1。根据规划，深汕校区占地约100万平方米，总建筑面积63.63万平方米1，计划2027年全面竣工1。学校联合比亚迪、北京理工大学组建国家级新能源汽车产教融合共同体1，同时与华为等70余家企业成立市域产教联合体1，已入选教育部首批名单1。
The first phase of Shenzhen Vocational and Technical University's Shensshan Campus was officially handed over for use on August 31, marking a major milestone in the expansion of the institution's educational infrastructure 1. The initial cohort of 320 new students is set to arrive on September 3 1.
The first phase spans a total building area of approximately 258,700 square meters and comprises four functional clusters dedicated to administration and teaching, college training facilities, student and faculty housing, and sports and medical services 1. Four specialized programs will launch initially: artificial intelligence technology application, mechanical design and manufacturing, new energy vehicle technology, and intelligent connected vehicle technology 1. The campus design emphasizes sustainability, with a green coverage rate of 35 percent and aims to serve as a near-zero carbon emissions demonstration campus 1.
The full campus is planned to occupy approximately one million square meters with a total building area of 636,300 square meters, with completion targeted for 2027 1. The university has partnered with BYD and Beijing Institute of Technology to establish a national-level new energy vehicle industry-education integration consortium 1. The university has also collaborated with over 70 enterprises including Huawei to form a municipal industry-education alliance, which was selected for the Ministry of Education's inaugural batch of such initiatives 1.
