The South Australian Labor government has called on the federal government to enact legislation permitting telehealth services in voluntary assisted dying (VAD) care.1 In a letter dated July 30, State Health Minister Blair Boyer and the Deputy Premier pressed the federal Attorney-General to address the regulatory inconsistencies across different jurisdictions, particularly to improve healthcare access in regional and remote communities.1 The letter was signed by 19 health professionals and advocates.1
