中国大陆推出针对台湾青年的「台青e家」网路平台，声称为青年提供交流、求学、实习及就业机会[1]。陆委会副主委沈有忠对此提出警告，指民众应审慎评估个人资料外洩的风险[1]。沈有忠表示，该平台实际上是为遂行统战目的而蒐集个人资料，未来如何运用这些个人资料尚不得而知[1]。
沈有忠同时指出，台湾青年的失业率、工作条件及整体工作环境比中国大陆好很多[1]。与此同时，教育部查获淡江大学与东海大学违反两岸交流规范。淡江大学因交流活动违反对等尊严原则遭扣减30万元奖补助款，东海大学则因未依规定登錄中方活动而遭扣减奖补助款[1]。
Mainland China has introduced the "Taiwan Youth e-Home" online platform, which it claims offers Taiwanese young people opportunities for exchange, education, internships, and employment.[1] However, officials in Taiwan have raised serious concerns about the initiative's underlying intentions and risks to personal information.
Shen Youzhong, deputy minister of the Mainland Affairs Council, cautioned that citizens should carefully assess the risk of personal data leakage through the platform.[1] He characterized the platform as a tool designed to collect individual information for united front purposes.[1] Shen stated that how personal data will be used in the future remains uncertain,[1] and emphasized that Taiwan's youth unemployment rates, working conditions, and overall employment environment are substantially better than those in mainland China.[1]
The Taiwan Ministry of Education has also taken action, discovering that Tamkang University and Tunghai University violated cross-strait exchange regulations.[1] The education ministry has reduced Tamkang University's subsidies by 300,000 yuan for conducting exchange activities that breached principles of equal dignity,[1] while Tunghai University faces subsidy cuts for failing to properly register mainland-organized activities with authorities.[1]
