At the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, Lamboria claimed a bronze medal, but she is now targeting gold in Glasgow, where competition begins on July 24, with finals scheduled for July 31 and August 1.[1] Her trajectory has accelerated significantly in 2025, when she won gold medals at both the Astana and Delhi World Cups and captured the world championship title in Liverpool.[1] Standing 5 feet 8½ inches tall, Lamboria trains at the Indian Army Sports Institute.[1]
Despite an early exit at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where she lost in the first round to Philippines boxer Nesthy Petecio, Lamboria has regrouped through adjustments to her training and mental preparation.[1] Beyond her individual achievements, the Indian Army launched the Girls Company initiative in 2024, which trains girls aged 12 to 16, reflecting broader efforts to expand women's participation in boxing within the military.[1]
