The event, organized by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, is expected to draw approximately 50,000 participants from more than 100 countries. [1] This comes as anti-Muslim hate crimes have increased by 19 percent over the 12-month period ending in March 2025, with British mosques facing attacks at an average rate of one every five days. Despite the hostile climate and the recent forced early closure of another Islamic gathering due to far-right threats, organizers remain committed to proceeding with the conference. Ahmadiyya Muslim Community leader Rafiq Hayat stated the organization will not be deterred by threats, declaring: "Not once. Not for a second" when asked about cancelling the event.
